hi all, I've been reading plenty of favorable opinions on the practicality and reliability of lundhags shell boots, especially in the context of northern Scandinavian wilderness and climate. I'll be soon relocating to south-east Australia in an area with plenty of rainfall, rainforest and long thru-hikes and snowy mountains that resemble Scandinavian fells in shape and elevation. The paths are either on soft cold steppe vegetation or boulders and moderately rocky terrain. The climate is not as much unforgivable though, and while it may still be very wet, it is also much more temperate.
How could lundhags vandra perform in said conditions? Will they be too hot? Will it be appropriate to still wear two pairs of wool socks? Should I size up?
thank you for your help!
