Visttasvaggi or Unna Visttasvaggi

Hello to all on the board!
Firstly, my apologies for communicating in English—I hope it's acceptable.
I'm returning to northern Sweden in two weeks (can't wait) and, among other things, we'll be walking Abisko-Vakkotavare, taking a detour from Alesjaure to Vistasstugan. My questions are, 1. would you recommend taking the Visttasvaggi or Unna Visttasvaggi route after Alisjavri? 2. after Nallostugan, would you suggest continuing on the Stuor Reaiddavaggi, or taking Sielmmavaggi to Tjaktjastugan before continuing south?

In good weather I would choose Unna. IThere are quite a lot of stones but its more beautiful and wild in my opinion.

All alternatives are quite possible, but higher altitudes normally mean more boulders and, of course, more meters to climb and descend. The seeneries however, can be interesting as a contrast to lower levels.

Higher levels can also mean walking on snowfields, especially in early season. If the snow is hard enough it will make waking easier, if not, just turn back! Ask the host/hostess in the STF-cabins for an advice.

But be minimal 2 person because of Tuff terrain and have warm clothes it could Snow even At Sommer

We plan to start at Abisko around 11th July, hopefully the snow will be less by then...

For a first time experience in the area I would go unna vistasvagge just to get the nice view out over vistasvagge, it is really beautiful!
On your way to sälka I would follow stuor reiddasvagge, it's a fairly nice valley that will save about half a day of walking, compared to sielmmavaggi. That half day can you spend on much funnier things, for example going on a hike from vistasstugan to where ever you want to go, climb nallu, or experience the nearest area around sälka, which is also really beautiful.

Unna Vistasvaggi is beautiful but there are lots of rocks and some parts are quite steep. It is also high in altitude so there might be snow left.

When i walked there a couple of years ago, it was hardpacked snow, nearly ice, around almost the whole lake. Steep and slippery, but able to do if careful and with stable hiking boots. Trekking poles was useful.

I can really recommend Vistasvaggi, beautiful valley. When I walked there 2 years ago in the middle of July I met 1 person the whole day.
The Vistas cabin is located very nice and is not as crowded as cabins on Kungsleden.
