ATC 2004: 5 race dage, delvist ekspeditions- og etapeløb. 250 km. 9000+ højdemeter. Discipliner: Gletsjer trekking, mountain biking, is fjord kano, mountain trekking. Grundet de specielle forhold på Grönlands Östkyst, er det af sikkerhedsmæssige årsager besluttet at fastsætte deltagende 15 hold som maksimum. "One word... Amazing! Truly the most incredible race I've competed in. A race to be experienced. Remote, breathtaking, and incredibly challenging. Definitely one of the best values in all of adventure racing. We mountain biked through incredibly rugged terrain, both on and off road, on a course that would leave pro bikers gasping for air. We paddled among huge ice bergs in near freezing water in view of breaching whales and the second largest icecap in the world. We climbed up many beautiful peaks affording spectacular views of some of the most remote terrain on earth allowing for a mountaineering experience that would be well worth the trip alone. We travelled across expansive glaciers rising 1,000 meters from the ocean under a midnight sun. The Arctic Team Challenge definitely qualifies as one of the top expedition races in the world and should be put at the top of every racer's to do list. I know I'll be back again next year!"
