cykeluthyrning för Vättern Runt, august 29th?

Hello,

i'm spending one month in Sweden, in Linkoping, visiting friends. so, i'm going to do the Vattern-Runt on august 29th, the only problem is that i don't have yet any bike. i was thinking maybe i could find around Linkoping a foretag who does cykelulthyrning, but... there doesn't seem to be any!

can anyone please help me out....

Hello L,

Have you considered the idea of buying a used bike? It depends on what you're looking for, of course, but personally I think buying a bike (and then selling it, after Vättern) is a cheaper alternative than renting...

actually i was thinking that renting a bike might be better than buying a used one - because i think most bikes on sale would be mountainbikes; in the mean time the most suitable bike for the Vattern-runt would be a bike with big wheels (sorry i don't know the exact word in english for it). with regard to price i don't think that a bike to rent would cost more than 100-150Kr per day, so it would be okay. (besides that would save me the time to find afterwards a buyer...)
