X-country-skis to rent?

Hi!

Where can I rent Cross- country skis in Stockholm? I will be here this week-end.
Some trails to recommend? I stay in Lidingö
Is it possible to walk/ski on the ice from Lidingö to the neighbour islands?

Unfortunately

there doesnt seem to be possible to hire X-country skis in the Stockholm area. The question has been asked here before. At swedish ski resorts you can hire all types of skis but in Stockhom only alpine skis as far as I know.

There are tracks more or less everywhere. You can have a look on http://www.skidspar.se/

The ice around Lidingö is normaly not safe.
