The Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course will prepare you to make difficult medical decisions. A WFR is fast-paced and engaging. You'll spend half your time outside doing hands-on skills and realistic scenarios. The curriculum is internationally recognized and supported by the Wilderness Medicine Institute's Medical Advisory Panel. You'll be taught by dynamic educators who have practiced both wilderness and urban medicine. This 80-hour course is ideal for all professionals operating in remote environments.

Tromsø, Norway June 20 - July 1, 2016. We are hosting a Wilderness First Responder course in a incredible area! Tromsø in Arctic Norway - the Land of Midnight Sun - is a fantastic setting for a WFR course. Course fee: NOK 8500:-. Food and lodging is not included but Tromsø Camping gives us a discount on cabins or tent sites. Tromsø Camping is within walking distance from the course classroom.
