I\ve had to rely on wi-fi spots and my Samsung Galaxy for the previous msgs. We've now left Sinai after snorkling the Canyon at Dahab, which was great, and also trekking the 2 mountains of Mt. Sinai (2285m) and Serabit al Khadim. We also spent a night in the desert under the stars, and I can promise that the desert sand gets in everywhere, and I mean everywhere ... I'm really hoping that my Sony camera is still OK ...

Hoping to be able to use Google stars on my Android tomorrow night when we are in Aswan and visiting Abu Simbel. (the wakeup call is 02:30 and we need to fly early to get there before the sand storms)
