Hakuba (白馬村) is a village located in Kitaazumi District, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. It is located at the center of one of Japan's largest winter skiing and mountain recreation areas.After chasing fresh snow for several years and hearing rumours about "Japanese powder snow" me and my brother decided to travel to Hakuba and check it out. Much thanks to the awesome people and Morino Lodge, this became one of the best ski trips I have had and one out of four trips to Japan for me during 12 months. It can all be summarised in friendly people, great relaxed atmosphere, simple but good food and one of the worlds best snow conditions. Not to forget, Kamoshikas.
